ASME SA335 F11 Cl2 Channel Cover Large Forgings Forpetrochemicals Hydrogenation Reactor
ASME SA336 specifies alloy steel forgings for high temperature and high pressure, which are suitable for pressure vessels and pipeline components in the fields of petrochemicals, power, etc.
F11 belongs to 1.25Cr-0.5Mo low alloy steel, corresponding to ASTM A182 F11 forgings, but SA336 is specifically for large forgings.
Channel Cover is usually used for manhole covers and inspection port closures of pressure vessels or pipelines, which need to withstand high temperature (≤550°C) and high pressure.

Application:
Petrochemicals
Hydrogenation reactor: Refinery hydrodesulfurization (HDS) unit.
Cracking unit: Used for sealing the top or sidewall opening of the reactor, resistant to oil-gas mixture and acidic medium (including H₂S).
Power and Energy
Boiler system of thermal power plant: Installed on steam header or high-pressure water supply pipeline, withstand high-temperature saturated steam (≤550°C) and cyclic load.
Nuclear power plant auxiliary system: Used for pressure boundary sealing of non-radioactive circuits (such as cooling water system), requiring low radiation sensitivity and long-term stability.
General industrial pressure vessel
Chemical reactor: Close the inlet or observation port of the stirring shaft, adapt to the acid-base alternating environment (need to be matched with anti-corrosion coating).
Gas storage tank: Liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tank inspection cover, which needs to maintain toughness at low temperature (-50°C).
