ASTM B564 Inconel 690 Flange

ASTM B564 covers nickel-based alloy forgings, including flanges, valves, pipe fittings, etc., suitable for high temperature, high pressure and highly corrosive environments.


Resistant to high temperature oxidation up to 1100°C (high chromium content, forming a stable chromium oxide layer). Resistant to stress corrosion cracking (SCC), especially resistant to chloride, sulfide and caustic (such as NaOH) environments. Low radiation sensitivity, can be widely used in nuclear power equipment.


ASTM B564 Inconel 690 flanges are the top choice for nuclear power, high temperature caustic and chloride corrosion environments. Its high chromium content gives it unparalleled resistance to oxidation and SCC. Despite its high cost, it is irreplaceable in key components of nuclear power plants (such as steam generators). Strictly follow industry specifications (such as ASME III) when selecting, and carefully evaluate alternative materials in strong acid or extreme high temperature scenarios.
