ASTM A790: Standard for seamless ferritic/austenitic (duplex) stainless steel pipe, covering chemical, mechanical and testing requirements. Ensures suitability for corrosive environments and high-pressure applications.
UNS S32750 (Super Duplex 2507) Super duplex stainless steel with a duplex microstructure (austenite + ferrite) offers increased strength and corrosion resistance compared to standard duplex grades such as 2205/S32205.
Superior strength-to-weight ratio compared to austenitic steels. Excellent resistance to chlorides, acids and sour environments (H₂S). Long service life in extreme conditions and reduced maintenance costs.

Applications:
Offshore Oil/Gas: Subsea pipelines, risers, and umbilicals (resists seawater + H₂S).
Desalination Plants: Handles high-salinity brine and chlorides.
Chemical Processing: Reactors, heat exchangers, and acid storage.
Power Generation: Condensers and cooling systems.
