ASTM A815 standard is applicable for the manufacture, testing, and inspection of duplex stainless steel fittings used in high temperature, high pressure, and corrosive environments. These fittings include but are not limited to elbows, flanges, tees, pipe caps, and other types. This standard covers various duplex stainless steel materials such as UNS S31803, S32205, S32750, etc., and different materials are suitable for different environmental conditions. For example, S31803 (ferritic austenitic stainless steel) is suitable for low-temperature environments, while S32205 is more suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure environments.
ASTM A815 S32750 material combines the advantages of austenitic stainless steel and ferritic stainless steel, and has excellent corrosion resistance, including high resistance to pitting, crevice, and chloride stress corrosion, as well as general corrosion in high acid resistance; At the same time, this material has high tensile strength and yield strength, and maintains good elongation and impact toughness, which can withstand extreme working conditions such as deep-sea pressure and high-temperature corrosion; In addition, S32750 also has high thermal conductivity and low coefficient of thermal expansion, which can maintain good dimensional stability and thermal stability in working environments with large temperature changes.
