ASME SA 182 F11 CL.2 refers to a specific grade of steel used in high temperature and high pressure applications, such as the construction of power plants, petrochemical plants, and other industrial environments. It is commonly used in flanges, forged fittings, valves, and other parts that require high strength and resistance to high temperatures and pressures.
CL.2 has higher mechanical properties compared to Grade 1. Known for its excellent creep rupture strength, it is often used in environments exposed to high temperatures for long periods of time.
