ASTM B163 Incoloy N02200 N02201 N04400 N06600 Heat Exchanger Tube
ASTM B163 covers seamless nickel alloy heat exchange tubes for high temperature/corrosive environments. Typical materials include:
N02200/N02201 (Nickel 200/201): high purity nickel (≥99%), suitable for caustic, chlorine treatment and medium temperature organic acid environment (N02201 has higher temperature resistance, up to 435°C);
N04400 (Monel 400): nickel-copper alloy, specially resistant to seawater, hydrofluoric acid and steam corrosion, ideal for marine coolers and petrochemical equipment;
N06600 (Inconel 600): nickel-chromium alloy, resistant to high temperature oxidation (up to 593°C) and chloride ion stress corrosion, widely used in nuclear power steam generators and cracking furnace tubes.
These alloys are manufactured through seamless hot and cold processing and annealing processes, combining strength and corrosion resistance, and are suitable for heat exchange systems in petrochemical, energy, marine and other fields. When selecting, a comprehensive evaluation should be made based on the medium (acid/alkali/salt), temperature and pressure.
