ASTM A276 Stainless Steel Flat Bar
Overview
ASTM A276 is a standard specification for stainless steel bars and shapes. This specification covers hot-finished or cold-finished stainless steel bars, including rounds, squares, hexagons, and flats.
Stainless steel flat bars are rectangular shaped bars with straight edges and a flat surface. They are commonly used in construction, manufacturing, and industrial applications due to their corrosion resistance, strength, and durability.
ASTM A276 specifies the chemical composition, mechanical properties, and other requirements for stainless steel flat bars. This standard ensures that the material meets the necessary quality and performance standards for use in various applications.
ASTM A276 Stainless Steel Flat Bar provides a reliable and high-quality material for a wide range of applications that require the unique properties of stainless steel.
Description
ASTM A276 304 Universal stainless steel plates contain up to 8% nickel and 18% chromium, giving them excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1,600 °F. It is easy to form or weld, can withstand heat and corrosion, and responds well to hardening by cold working.
