Features of stainless steel 310:
High temperature resistance:
310 stainless steel is known for its excellent high temperature resistance. Withstands temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F) in continuous operation and up to 1230°C (2250°F) in intermittent operation.
Corrosion resistance:
This grade of stainless steel exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, especially in mildly corrosive environments. It resists oxidation and scaling, making it suitable for applications involving high temperatures.
Strength and durability:
Stainless steel 310 or pipe flanges are known for their high strength and durability. It maintains its mechanical properties at both high and low temperatures, providing reliability under a wide range of operating conditions.
ASME SA182 SS 310 flanges can generally be easily cold formed using standard methods and equipment. UNS S31000 flanges have machining properties comparable to Type 304 flanges. Also known as wnr 1.4841 flanges, these grades are welded using matching electrodes and filler metal. We also offer similar customized sizes and shapes as per the demands of our esteemed clients.
