Overview:
EN10217-7 is a European standard that specifies the technical delivery conditions for welded stainless steel tubes for pressure purposes. The standard covers a range of grades, including 1.4401 and 1.4404, which are commonly known as 316 and 316L stainless steel.
1.4401 and 1.4404 are austenitic stainless steels with high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical properties. They are commonly used in applications where resistance to corrosion is critical, such as in the chemical, petrochemical, and food processing industries.
