Overview
ASTM A106 Gr.B HFW U-Fin Tube is a type of heat exchanger tube made of carbon steel and featuring a unique "U"-shaped fin profile. The "U"-shaped fins are spiral-welded onto the outside surface of the tube, creating an extended surface that can improve overall heat transfer efficiency.
Fin tube is a heat exchange element, mainly in order to improve the heat exchange efficiency, usually by adding fins on the surface of the heat exchange tube, increase the outer area of the heat exchange tube (or internal surface area), so as to achieve the purpose of improving the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchange tube.
Finned tube has the characteristics of high heat transfer power, large heat dissipation area, long service life and wide temperature control requirements. Its heat transfer area is several times to tens of times larger than the bare tube, which can enhance heat transfer and reduce resistance.
In view of the finned tube is assembled on a machine equipment similar to a boiler, so it must withstand the test of continuous high temperature, so when selecting the finned tube, it is necessary to select the following fin tubes with more prominent capabilities. The finned tube has strong corrosion resistance, if the selected finned tube is not strong in corrosion resistance, it is very easy to be corroded under continuous high temperature conditions. Second, the finned tube has strong wear resistance, if the finned tube is worn, the heat transfer effect will be affected by the corresponding degree of interference, so the finned tube with strong wear resistance should be selected. Third, the finned tube contact thermal resistance is low, select the low contact thermal resistance of the finned tube, in order to maintain the performance of the finned tube under the condition of continuous high temperature; The finned tube has strong stability, and only the finned tube with strong stability can be selected without interfering with the heat transfer performance under the condition of continuous high temperature; 5. The finned tube has good ash-proof ability.
