DIN2631 Hastelloy C276, UNS N10276 Nickel Alloy Long Weld Neck Raised Face Flange
The long neck connects the pipe into the flange and provides reinforcement that a weld neck flange cannot have. Long Weld Neck Flanges are also used in situations when expansion bends or changes the pipe because of the high pressure. Hastelloy C276 is defined as Alloy C276 or Inconel C276. Hastelloy C276 is a superalloy with a combination of molybdenum, nickel, and chromium. The addition of tungsten offers an excellent form of corrosion resistant in the severe environments. The components of molybdenum and nickel help in resisting to crevice corrosion and pitting in reducing environments. And chromium is used to convey resistance to oxidizing the media.
