What is HFW Fin Tube?
High-frequency welded finned tube is a common type of finned tube, which adopts high-frequency induction heating technology to weld the metal fins to the metal tube. This process has the advantages of high efficiency, high quality and high automation, so it is widely used in the industrial field.
The process of making high-frequency welded finned tubes generally includes the following steps:
Making fins: Shear the metal sheet into corresponding shapes of fins, and then form them by pressing, stretching, rolling and other processes.
Making the tube: Bend the sheet metal into the shape of a tube, then weld or buckle the orifice into a complete tube.
Installation of fins: The fabricated fins are set onto the tube, and then the fins are welded to the tube by high-frequency induction heating technology. During this process, the friction generated by the contact between the fins and the tube surface will heat up the fin surface. The high frequency induction heating technology utilizes the heat generated by the eddy currents on the surface of the fins to melt and fuse them with the tube surface.
