What is ASME SA210?
This specification covers seamless medium-carbon steel boiler and superheater tubes. The specification also covers minimum-wall-thickness, tubing sizes, boiler flues including e ends, arch and stay tubes. The specification provides tensile and hardness properties but only applicable to certain size limitations. Material manufacturing shall be killed. Tubes shall be made by seamless process, marked as either hot-finished or cold-finished. Surface condition shall be specifically stated in the order.
SA 210 is used in high-pressure and temperature systems. The SA 210 Grade A1 Boiler Tube is made up of a chemical composition consisting of 0.27% of carbon, 0.93% manganese, 0.10% silicon, 0.035% phosphorous, and sulfur.
The SA210 Tube is highly versatile and widely used in oil and gas refineries, water supply systems, sewage treatment, agricultural equipment, petrochemical, paper industries, etc.
