We are one of the leading manufacturers of stainless steel, duplex, and alloy steel pipes in China. With over 20 years of development, we have established a strong customer base worldwide, and our Yuhong products have received widespread praise from our customers.
Our product range includes seamless ferritic and austenitic steel tubes for boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers. These tubes are designated with grades such as T91, TP304, and more, as listed in Tables 1 and 2 of the standard specification.
The grades containing the letter "H" in their names have specific requirements that provide higher creep rupture strengths compared to similar grades without the "H" designation.
Typically, the pipe sizes and thicknesses supplied in accordance with this specification range from 1/8 in. [3.2 mm] ID to 5 in. [127 mm] ID, with a minimum wall thickness of 0.015 to 0.500 in. [0.4 to 12.7 mm]. If specified in the order, tubes with average wall thickness or other diameters can also be supplied, provided they meet all other requirements of the specification.
The values expressed in either SI units or inch-pound units are considered standard. In the text, SI units are shown in parentheses. It should be noted that the values specified in each system may not be exactly equivalent, so each system should be used independently. Combining values from both systems may result in non-compliance. Unless the "M" designation of this specification is specified in the order, inch-pound units shall be used.
Table 1 provides the chemical composition limits for low alloy steels, with the maximum limits specified unless ranges or minimums are indicated. There is no requirement for the elements denoted by an ellipsis (…), and no analysis or reporting is necessary for those elements.
For sulfur content, ordering of T2 and T12 with up to 0.045 sulfur content is allowed (refer to 16.3).
Alternatively, in addition to the minimum ratio specified, the material may have a minimum hardness of 275 HV in the hardened state, which is defined as after austenitizing and cooling to room temperature but before tempering. Hardness testing should be conducted at the mid-thickness of the product. The frequency of hardness testing should be two samples per heat-treated batch, and the results should be reported in the material test report.
We take pride in manufacturing high-quality steel tubes that meet these specifications, ensuring reliable performance in various applications such as boilers, superheaters, and heat exchangers.
