ASTM A213 / ASME SA213 TP347H STAINLESS STEEL SEAMLESS TUBE BOILER TUBE
Stainless steel 347H is a stabilized austenitic stainless steel that contains a higher amount of carbon, compared to standard grade 347. This higher carbon content provides improved high-temperature strength and resistance to intergranular corrosion.
347H stainless steel tubes are commonly used in applications that require high-temperature resistance, such as in the manufacturing of heat exchangers, boilers, and furnace parts. They are also suitable for use in the petrochemical, chemical, and power generation industries.
These tubes are available in various sizes, thicknesses, and lengths to meet specific project requirements. They can be purchased in seamless or welded forms, depending on the application and desired characteristics.
The properties of stainless steel 347H tubes include excellent corrosion resistance, high strength, good weldability, and creep resistance at elevated temperatures. They have a wide operating temperature range and can withstand temperatures up to 1000°C (1832°F) without losing their mechanical properties. Additionally, stainless steel 347H tubes exhibit resistance to sulfur-bearing atmospheres, which makes them suitable for use in environments with sulfur compounds.

ASTM A213/A213M specification covers seamless ferritic and austenitic steel boiler, superheater, and heat-exchanger tubes. The tubing sizes and thicknesses usually furnished to ASTM A213/A213M specification are 1⁄8 in. [3.2 mm] in inside diameter to 5 in.[127 mm] in outside diameter and 0.015 to 0.500 in. [0.4 to 12.7 mm], inclusive, in minimum wall thickness or, if specified in the order, average wall thickness.
