ASTM B622/ ASME SB622 C276 / UNS N10276 / DIN 2.4819 Seamless Nickel Alloy Tube
Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium superalloy that includes tungsten, engineered for outstanding corrosion resistance across a variety of harsh environments. Its elevated nickel and molybdenum levels provide strong protection against pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing conditions, while the chromium content offers resistance to oxidizing agents. Additionally, the low carbon content helps prevent carbide precipitation during welding, preserving the corrosion resistance of welded structures. This alloy also resists the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the heat-affected zone during welding, making it ideal for many chemical processing applications in its as-welded state.
