ASTM B466 C70600 copper-nickel fittings (e.g., reducers) are seamless 90-10 Cu-Ni alloy components designed for demanding marine and industrial applications, composed primarily of copper (88.6–90.5%), nickel (9–11%), and iron (1–1.8%). Renowned for exceptional seawater corrosion resistance, biofouling inhibition, and mechanical strength (tensile: 290–380 MPa), these fittings are widely used in shipboard piping, desalination plants, and offshore oil/gas systems.
